Welcome Address from the Head of Department
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Quantity Surveying, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. The Department of Quantity Surveying is committed to academic excellence and to producing innovative, highly skilled, and ethically grounded graduates who can meet the demands of the evolving construction industry at local, national, and global levels.
Quantity Surveying plays a vital role in the planning, cost management, and successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring value for money and sustainable outcomes. In line with this, our programmes are designed to blend rigorous academic theory with practical application.
We are guided by three core pillars:
