Grace Kehinde OJO BSc., MSc., PhD, (Ife), MNIQS, RQS

GRACE KEHINDE OJO is a Professor of Quantity Surveying from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She graduated with B.Sc. (Hons) Quantity Surveying the Department of Quantity Surveying, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and obtained Masters of Science and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the same university. She worked with the Engineering Section of Nigerian Army Corps of Artillery and Schools, Kontagora, Niger State during her mandatory National service in 1995 before joining the Department of Quantity Surveying, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria as a Graduate Assistant in 1997 where she rose through the ranks and was appointed Professor of Quantity Surveying in 2019 with specialization in Construction Risk Management, Constriction Marketing Management, Gender issues in construction, Research Design and Data Analysis.

She served as the Head of Department between 2013 and 2015. She has taught and examined many courses across different Quantity Surveying related areas at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has successfully supervised MSc and PhD candidates to graduation. She has many publications in national and international academic journals and referred conference proceedings. She is an External Examiner for both Undereducated and Postgraduate students both locally and internationally.

She has also served in different leadership positions both at academic and professional levels. Among them are Resource Person for NIQS and NIOB Professional Examination Tutorial Classes; examiner for NIQS and NIOB Professional Examinations; Treasurer and Ex-officio, Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Osun State Chapter. She also served as a member of Membership Committee of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS); Zonal Coordinator, Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) Professional Examination for Akure Centre and Coordinator of Osun/Oyo Women Association of Quantity Surveyors of Nigeria (WAQSN).
