Professor Henry Odeyinka is a Professor of Quantity Surveying and Construction Project Management. He obtained his BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying in 1984 from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He is also a recipient of MSc in Construction Management in 1987 from the University of Lagos, MBA and PGD in Computer Science from Obafemi Awolowo University and PhD in Construction Management and Economics from Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, UK in 2003. He has held lecturing positions at the Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, UK and the University of Ulster, Belfast, UK. He has researched widely in the areas of construction risk management, cash flow modelling, construction cost management, building information modelling, housing and sustainable construction. He has also held administrative positions as Head of Department, Dean of Faculty and Director of Works and Maintenance Services. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (FNIQS), Member, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a Fellow of the UK-based Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
