DR. N. A. Musa (Ph.D, MNIQS, RQS, ANCS)

Dr. Nofiu Abiodun Musa is an Associate Professor (Reader) in the Department of Quantity Surveying, Faculty of Environmental Design and Management at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He earned his Ph.D. in Technology Management (2011), M.Sc. in Construction Management (2002), and B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying (1988) from Obafemi Awolowo University, as well as a Higher School Certificate (1984) from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta. Professionally, he became a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (1997), a Registered Quantity Surveyor with the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (1999), and an Affiliate Member of the Nigerian Computer Society (2010).

Dr. Musa’s career spans over three decades, including service as Chief Lecturer at Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro (1994–2012), before joining Obafemi Awolowo University in 2012. His research focuses on information and communications technology in construction, capacity building, construction economics, tendering, and housing finance. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences, with notable contributions on ICT adoption in quantity surveying and alternative housing finance strategies. He has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students and continues to play a vital role in advancing professional practice and academic scholarship in the built environment.
