Oluwaseyi Olalekan ALAO B.Tech (Akure), MSc. (Lagos), MSc., PhD (Ife), MNIQS, RQS

Dr. Alao Hold National Diploma, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy in Quantity Surveying from Ondo State Polytechnic (now Rufus Giva Polytechnic), Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria (1998), Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria (2005), and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria (2016 & 2021) respectively. He also holds Master of Science in Construction Management from University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria (2011). He is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and a Registered Quantity Surveyor.

His 19 years work experience span practice and academia. He worked with Costworth Associate in Ilupeju, Lagos as Quantity Surveyor for 2 years, lectured in Lagos State Polytechnic (now Lagos State University of Science and Technology), Ikorodu, Lagos for 41⁄2 years before joining the service of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 2012. He is well vast in the teaching of measurement and estimation of building and civil engineering works, management of construction projects as project manager, construction manager, and consultant quantity surveyor. He is proficient is the use of MS Office suite. Knowledgeable in SPSS, PlanSwift, Bluebeam software usage.
