Sunday Julius Odediran BSc., MSc. (Ife), PhD (Cape Town), MNIQS, RQS

Dr Sunday Odediran is currently an Associate Professor at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife, Nigeria. He holds a PhD in Construction Economics and Management from the University of Cape Town, Cape Town, South Africa in 2016. His MSc and BSc Degrees in Quantity Surveying were obtained from Obafemi Awolowo and University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 2008 and 2012 respectively.

Dr Odediran’s research interests are in the areas of sustainability, international procurement, Africa trade & business, digitalization and project performance in construction. As a prolific writer, he has published widely in these areas as journal articles, book chapters and paper presented in refereed conferences locally and internationally.

He teaches courses in the areas of measurement of building & civil engineering, tendering & estimating, construction economics, construction project management, construction marketing management, and research design at the undergraduate level. Dr Odediran’s postgraduate teaching cover construction logistics and estimating, international construction dimensions and infrastructure cost management.

He is a registered quantity surveyor with the Quantity Surveyor Registration Board of Nigerian (QSRBN) and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MNIQS). He is also a trained builder.
